I think I have posted from ‘The Jealous Curator’ before but this artist just creates such beautiful and interesting works that I simply couldn’t help myself. Laura McKellar lives in Australia, and these two wonderful pieces are based on The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Anderson, and were shown last November at the Once Upon exhibition in Melbourne. Definitely one to keep watch of!

This wonderful series by Daryl Feril are mixed media illustrations of designer brand logos done with graphite & watercolor in paper and digital enhancement.

The designs aim to illustrate and create a very feminine mood yet still conserve the sophistication and identity of each brand. We love them!

As I am currently in Cusco, Peru I thought that I might put up these beautiful images that I found recently. Titled La Señorita Bello – Alexander Neumann captures the beauty of traditional Peruvian folk style in Cusco with this spirited editorial for Vogue Korea. Styled by Aeri Yun, model Han Hye Jin interacts with the locals in a gorgeous wardrobe of layered prints, textures and hues, evoking the colorful culture of Peru. The Korean beauty wears spring collections from the likes of Roberto Cavalli, Balmain, Prabal Gurung and Salvatore Ferragamo as she explores Cusco’s enchanting sights.

Delicious colours, floral embroidery and pom poms are key to London based fashion designer Caroline Issa’s new range for L K Bennett. The collaboration which includes ankle-strap heels, kitten heels and sandles are reminiscent of the beaches in Thailand and have made these our favourite shoe of the year.
